Denmark (continued)My son married Sandra Byrd in Reno, Nevada in 1992. Part of extended trip to Reno, we went to the genealogical library in Salt Lake City. The folks at the Scandinavian desk helped me find copies of birth records for my grandfather and his grandparents as well. |

We also spent time in the archives in Viborg, where Carston helped me again and he posed for a picture after I reminded him of my previous visit. We went to the archive in Aabenraa, where Inger help me find more information on my grandmother’s family and she posed for a picture after I reminded her of my previous visit. |

We were back in Danmark two years later where we decided to make it a golf tour of the country. We played nine different golf courses in the 3 weeks we were there. I had also found the names of relatives that lived on Mors. When we got to Verner and Lotte’s one of the first things he said was, “I found your relatives.” The next day we had afternoon coffee at the apartment of my Grandaunt Alma Kirstine Pedersen Kristensen. Alma is my grandfather’s niece, his younger sister, Ane Margrethe Pedersen Have's, daughter. Also at the coffee was Alma’s daughter, Ebba, and her daughter, Helen. Verner and Helen served as our translators. |
